I'm Mathieu Sanchez de Souza, currently pursuing my Master's in Robotics at EPFL, building on my Bachelor's in Microengineering from the same institution. My path from the precision world of microengineering to robotics has been driven by curiosity about how we can create intelligent systems that solve real problems.

My microengineering background gave me a solid foundation in precision and attention to detail, which now helps me in robotics projects. I'm particularly interested in AI and Machine Learning, Control Systems, Human-Robot Interaction, and Embedded Systems. Through my coursework and projects, I've worked on developing deep learning models for computer vision, implementing PID position controllers on STM32 microcontrollers, designing precision mechanical sensors, and creating synchronization systems for biomechanical data acquisition.

What excites me most about robotics is its potential to genuinely help people, especially in areas like rehabilitation and assistive technologies. I'm always eager to learn new things and take on challenging projects that push me to grow.
